UiTM has shown its commitment to change by revisiting its transformation programme, as to provide solid foundation in every phase of its transformation. At the end of 2017, the university has re-evaluated its Trans4U 1.0 Programme to realign to new changes, challenges, competitions, current needs, and opportunities. This is to ensure the success of the transformation programme while maintaining UiTM at a relevant, sustainable and competitive level.

Subsequently, series of meeting for consolidation and approval were conducted with all Lead Directors and Program Directors from November 2017 to January 2018. As a result, thirty (30) out of sixty-six (66) projects in Trans4U 1.0 were rebranded, and nineteen (19) new projects were introduced. This has brought the total number of project under Trans4U 2.0 to 49 projects. These strategic projects are led by 7 Lead Directors comprising 5 Deputy Vice Chancellors, Registrar and Treasurer of UiTM. These strategic projects are based on four transformation components, namely Organization (O), Talent (B), Process (P) and Technology (T) conducted under the umbrella of 17 strategic programmes.
